Six of Brunel School's staff team have come together to form the 'Brunel School Striders'.

Over a 24-hour period between the 19th and 20th June 2026, they will be completing a 68-mile walk between Westward Ho! and Paignton to raise money for The Devon Clinic.

As staff of Torbay's specialist secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school, we are all too aware of the importance of accessible mental health support for everyone.

We are completing this challenge to raise money via our walk to support The Devon Clinic, and every mile we walk represents someone struggling with anxiety, trauma, or depression who reaches out for support. The Devon Clinic is there to listen, to care, and to help people rebuild their lives.

This challenge isn’t just about distance; it’s about determination, teamwork, and compassion. The walk will test us physically and mentally, but it will be worth it.
