International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners

We are incredibly proud to share that our Headteacher has been awarded Fellowship of IFIP (FIFIP) – International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners.

This prestigious recognition is awarded to leaders who have made a significant contribution to inclusive practice, championing belonging, equity, and opportunity for children and young people.

For Brunel, this is more than a personal achievement; it reflects the values that sit at the heart of our school community.

Inclusion is not an add-on at Brunel; it is the foundation of everything we do. From safeguarding and pastoral care, to curriculum design, family engagement, attendance, and community partnerships, our vision is rooted in ensuring every child feels seen, valued, safe, and able to thrive.

Being recognised by an international body such as IFIP highlights the important work happening within our school and wider community. It acknowledges our commitment to relational practice, strong partnerships with families, and our belief that education must be ambitious, compassionate, and inclusive for all.

This fellowship strengthens Brunel’s voice within a global network of inclusive practitioners and creates further opportunities to share best practice, influence wider systems, and continue building a school community where every young person belongs.

We are immensely proud of this achievement and excited about what it means for the future of Brunel and the children and families we serve.
