Children's Mental Health Week

Dear Parent/Carer,
As a Special School that caters for children with additional needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health, we take mental health seriously.
Next week marks Children's Mental Health Week and we look forward to raising awareness of Children's Mental Health during tutor time and PSHE sessions.
In recognition of this important week and to promote good mental health and wellbeing, we would like to offer our children hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows at break time on Thursday 12th February. If you have any concerns about this, or to update us with dietary requirements, please let our reception team know.
We will also be extending our enrichment time on the last day of term, Friday 13th February. We will be holding a whole school pupil and staff football match, which has proven very popular with our pupils in the past. For pupils who wish not to take part in this game, there will also be the option to watch films.
We would also like to take an opportunity to remind you that we have devoted a whole section of our website to wellbeing support, guidance and information, suitable for all ages. Please visit our website to learn more, www.brunelschool.org
Kind regards,
Ben Clark
